Cheers! Qingdao taps into beer season
The 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival commenced today in Qingdao, Shandong province, promising a vibrant celebration that will last until Aug 16. The grand opening featured a state-of-the-art stage production, seamlessly blending holographic projections, lasers, and pyrotechnics to create a multi-dimensional, immersive experience for attendees of all ages.

The festival's opening ceremony ignited the crowd. Featuring a dynamic musical performance of the festival's original theme song and a diverse lineup of both local and international talent, the show aimed to entertain people of all ages.
Furthermore, the event included the premiere of a city-themed promotional video which showcases the city's stunning landscapes, cultural heritage, and vibrant atmosphere, painting a comprehensive portrait of "Dynamic Qingdao" for a global audience.
Beyond the opening night, festival-goers can look forward to daily fireworks displays for the full 30-day duration, organized into four distinct weekly themes. This year's fireworks are set to surpass previous years in scale, technology, and overall visual appeal, with an array of high-end fireworks and new colors. Alongside the fireworks there will be art parades, light shows and many other attractions. Thanks to all of this, the 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival promises an unforgettable festival experience.
